The studio
We make one thing, and we make it properly.
SilverHaüs designs, manufactures and installs closet systems. Not kitchens, not joinery in general — closets, dressing rooms and the fittings that go inside them.

A narrow focus, on purpose
Most cabinet makers treat a closet as a box with a door on it. We start from the opposite end: the frame is the product, and everything else — shelves, rails, drawer boxes, lighting — hangs off it. That is why our systems can be re-laid out years later without a carpenter.
It also means we can hold tolerances that a general shop cannot. Uprights are cut to the millimetre from the site survey, so panels meet the floor and the ceiling without a filler strip, and a run of six bays stays square across its whole length.
Everything is drawn in-house, made in our own workshop and installed by the people who built it. There is no subcontracted fitting crew, and nobody arrives on site seeing the drawings for the first time.
Materials we will stand behind
Aluminium is anodised rather than powder-coated, so the colour is in the surface of the metal and cannot chip off an edge. Timber is solid or veneered over a stable core, finished in dead-matte lacquer. Drawer linings are full-grain hide, not a split or a coated finish.
Runners and hinges come from one supplier, rated and tested, and are covered for ten years. If something fails inside that window we come and replace it.
