Detail
A diffused panel behind the shelving replaces conventional spotlights. Instead of discrete pools of light and hard shadows under each shelf, the back of the cabinet becomes the light source, so garments are read as silhouettes against an even field.
Front panels are available glazed, in lacquered glass or in matte lacquer. The glazed option is the one shown here, with a stepped shelf layout that leaves the upper register open for luggage and boxes.
The lighting runs on a low-voltage driver with a scene controller, so the interior wash, the shelf lighting and the hanging rails can be set to different levels and recalled together.
